"When I was in Memphis I stopped at a store to ask directions to get to “Mick Lemore” because in Buffalo NY that’s how we thought you probably pronounce it as myself and my friends were big fans of the Booker T and the MGs album that was their take on The Beatles’ Abbey Road album. I wanted to find the studio and walk across the street like they did on the album cover. The clerk at the store looked at me blankly and then laughed at how I pronounced it & said “It’s MAC Lemore.”" (Brandon Delmont | Feb 2022)
